Rick Stephens Owner rick@stephens-key.com

A 1975 graduate of Pryor High School. After spending 20 years in Law Enforcement, and working both full time and part time for Jim Green of Jim Green Funeral Home, Rick established Stephens Memorial Chapel. Married to Gloria Stephens in 1989,  they have 3 daughters, Amy, Stacy and Abby and four grandchildren, Heaven, Colby, Cameron and Addison. Rick graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1987 and is both a licensed funeral director and embalmer.

Shane T. Borum Funeral Director

A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, a licensed funeral director and embalmer, Shane began his career in funeral service in 1997. He has been employed by Stephens Memorial Chapel since 2003. Away from work, Shane enjoys weight training and playing guitar.

Gloria Stephens Grief Support/Owner

Gloria married Rick in December 1989. She is active in community affairs, health fairs, and grief support sponsored by Stephens Memorial Chapel. A mother of 3 daughters, Amy, Stacy and Abby and has four grandchildren, Heaven, Colby, Cameron and Addison. An avid gardener and decorator, she enjoys any outdoor activities.

Buddy West Funeral Assistant

After graduating from Pryor High School Buddy attended NEO A&M and Northeastern State University. As a lifelong resident of Mayes County, he has worked in the Cattle Industry, as a Rancher, for most of his life. Buddy married Bekki Hufford in 1970 at Nowata, Oklahoma. They have two daughters, Emily McIntosh and Molly Gordon. After retiring from ranching, Buddy began working at Stephens Memorial Chapel.

Bekki West Visitation Assistant

Bekki is a graduate of Nowata High School.  She attended NEO A&M and earned a B.S. Degree in Education from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Bekki was married to Buddy West in 1970 and they have made Mayes County their home.  They have 2 daughters, Emily McIntosh and Molly Gordon. After retiring in 2010 from a forty year career in education, she began working for Stephens Memorial Chapel.

Daniel Thompson Funeral Assistant

Daniel and wife Angela reside in Pryor, OK. A native of Oregon, graduating from Jefferson High School in Portland in 1991. Has two adult children, a daughter Amanda age 20 and a son Austin age 18 who reside in Portland, OR. Married Angela Stafford on June 30, 2011 and together they share four step-daughters. A Gulf War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army (1991-1994) as an Artilleryman, and is a  member of the Mayes County Disabled American Veterans.
