I am sorry for the loss of your loved one. The Bible teaches that one day in the near future our Creator, Jehovah God, by means of the ransom sacrifice of his son, Jesus, will reunite us with our dead loved ones by means of a resurrection right here on earth in paradise conditions that will be filled with peace, happiness, and perfect health for everyone. (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:9-11,29; Isaiah 33:24) As you read the above texts from your Bible, may the wonderful hope they give us, along with loving memories bring you a measure of comfort during this most difficult time. There is much Bible-based comfort to be found on the website sincerely dianne mullins

In seventh grade, many classes sat the students at Pryor Junior High School in alphabetical order. I was placed between Donna Gustafson and Debra Harvey. It was "Gustafson, Gwartney, Harvey" through much of school as the role was called. I was the outsider, having gone to a different elementary school than Donna and Debra, but we became the best of friends. Debra moved before our senior year, but Donna and I stayed, leading the Pryor High School band as drum majors. Just a few moments after receiving the news of Donna's passing, the sporting event I was attending played the "Star Spangled Banner." It brought an immediate rush of memories of all the home football games where the two of us started off the playing of our nation's anthem. The last time I saw Donna was at Firststep for Women in Oklahoma City. We caught up on our kids, our parents, and our memories. She was glad to be tackling some of the amazing difficulties in her life. That afternoon I re-connected with the courageous friend who would never give up. When we were in school together, my phrase for that was typically, "stubborn," a gift we both shared. I can't imagine the sorrow Beth, Gus, Jean and the the rest of the family are experiencing. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. p
