O my how do u start with this great man as a father, a papa, and a great papa, most of all MY DADDY. When I was five or six I had broke my arm and was all ready in bed, (he worked for rainbo bread) so he got in later than we could stay up, he came in and woke me up to see how I was and got me my first piece of jewelry a ring but not just any ring it was a blue bird ring. And yet a nother time yes I got hurt again he came in with the sweetest play dog but not just any dog it was a radio it was so cool. Me and my daddy had a special daughter and father relationship , he all was made are life's GREAT and lots of fun never did I want for anything. Before they bought the dairy stop we had a lake house dad took us out on the boat to teach us to ski, by that evening I was skiing with just one ski what fun . One of the greatest moments in my life was the night u gave me a brand new car. Mom told me to go out on the porch that u wanted to talk to me ,all I could think was I'm in trouble didn't no why but all i could think of was its 1200 in morning why would he want me out side lol, we'll I got the greatest surprise of my life doors all open radio going and off we went. Omg that was my daddy always giving loving caring , there is so many more thing I could say about the greatest man in my life , but I think we all no this. I love u so much daddy ill see u some day again. And I know u will be standing there with my Meemee and pickem and papa ray . No good by just till I see u at the u and miss u sis.

I went to work for Larry and Kay when I was 13, little did I know they would become my second family. Larry and I had a blast working together I don't know if anyone else enjoyed us that much. I'm not sure where Larry came up with this but he gave me the nickname Bowlegs and it stuck, 40 yrs later that's pretty much all they called me. The last conversation Larry and I had we were discussing OU football and giving LSU down the road. We had a lot of laughs together and I will truly miss him. Love you always.

Larry touched a lot of lives and was a great Man. He taught a lot of life lessons while working with his employees at the Dairy Stop. He was my Boss but felt like another Dad, always positive and hardworking and teaching us girls about life. Which continued long after the Dairy Stop days. Kay, Cindy and Kirk so very sorry for your loss, May God comfort you and your Families and help ease your pain. Lots of Love to You all, Angelia Southern Clement

I will always remember how Kay and Larry “adopted” our family. We had great times and laughed a lot. My favorite memories of Larry were when he was cooking, and what a great cook he was! I am so grateful that we knew Larry. May God comfort you during this time of sorrow. p

Kay, Cindy and Kirk...There are no words to tell you how sorry I am in the passing of Larry. He was such a special man. I will never forget the first time I ever saw him, I was 12 years old, I walked into the back door of the Dairy Queen, and there we was, he had the most infectious smile and a personality to match, he never met a stranger, and I fell head over hills in love with him. Kay, he was so lucky to have you in his life, and Cindy and Kirk, what a wonderful Dad. Love you all...Joyce Ann
